All over the UK, private individuals and professionals in a variety of companies have gained benefits by taking part in a Arabic Language Course from SIMON & SIMON. With an average of 15 years’ experience, the native Arabic speakers of SIMON & SIMON’s qualified teaching team tailor each course for the specific requirements of the student, from absolute novices to those with some experience. Our clients reliably give excellent feedback on our Arabic teachers. Each of our students receives an information profile on the background and experience of their Arabic teacher before they commence their Arabic lessons.

Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding. The Communicative Approach, where your Arabic teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Arabic means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Arabic in a social or business setting will be no problem.

Our Arabic courses are usually offered by our clients as 1:1 training for their employees. Group sessions, however, are also available and can be excellent value for money. Planning is required so that participants all meet at the same time each week, and we recommend that numbers are kept to 6 or less. 1:1 Arabic lessons at Rotherham mean that you will have your individual needs, weaknesses and strengths catered for, so that your progress is quicker.

Arabic Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Arabic language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual. At the start of your Arabic language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources.

Arabic language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Arabic language course. We can arrange your Arabic language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Residential full-time Arabic language courses are also available. Our office can discuss available locations with you.

Rotherham Arabic Course Schedules

We run Arabic language courses in Rotherham all year. Most of our students participate in no less than one 90-minute lesson per week, but many students will participate in more if work commitments allow. Weekend Courses can be facilitated, and our Arabic weekday courses run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Arabic language courses are also available and can be run at the client’s premises or a residential centre in the UK or overseas. These courses take place over 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week.

Your Arabic language course’s content will be tailored to your experience and goals. Prior to the course, we will assess your Arabic language level and speak to you comprehensively about the areas and subjects you are interested in. Students may be complete novices who need everyday Arabic conversational skills or have more proficiency in Arabic and wish to be able to discuss various business topics such as banking or finance more fluently. Students may desire to bolster their Arabic for negotiations and meetings or focus on gaining better listening, pronunciation and comprehension skills. No matter what your needs, you can be confident that our very experienced Arabic language trainers will work with you on a Arabic language course that is tailored for you so that you quickly meet your goals.

Arabic Language Examination Courses

Arabic examination preparation for business or other examinations can also be assisted with. Our students boast a 95% rate of passing such examinations, proving the value of our policy of Arabic teachers in Rotherham with experience above the average. SIMON & SIMON also organises registration and administration of Arabic examinations as well as issuing results certificates as a part of our service.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 22 countries and it is the liturgical language of Islam since it is the language of the Quran, the Islamic Holy Book. Arabic has many different, geographically distributed spoken varieties, some of which are mutually unintelligible. Modern Standard Arabic (sometimes called Literary Arabic) is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in workplaces, government and the media.

Rotherham is a town in South Yorkshire, England. It lies on the River Don, at its confluence with the River Rother, between Sheffield and Doncaster. Rotherham, at 6 miles (10 km) from Sheffield City Centre, is surrounded by several smaller settlements, which together form the wider Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. According to the 2001 Census the population of Rotherham is 117,262. There were Iron Age and Roman settlements in the area covered by the town but Rotherham was not founded until the early Middle Ages. It established itself as a key Saxon market town, lying on a Roman road near a forded part of the River Don. By the late Saxon period, Rotherham was at the centre of a large parish on both sides of the River Don. Following the Norman Conquest, an absentee lord, Nigel Fossard, was put in place. His successors the De Vescis rarely visited the town and did not build a castle or contribute to the town's civic life, but maintained a Friday market and a fair. In the mid 13th century, John de Vesci and Ralph de Tili gave all their possessions in Rotherham to Rufford Abbey. The monks collected tithes from the town and gained rights to an additional market day on Monday and to extend the annual fair from two to three days.
