Newcastle Arabic Course Schedules

The Arabic language courses in Newcastle that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Arabic courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Arabic language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Arabic language course we will assess your level of Arabic and speak to you about your aims so that your Arabic language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Arabic before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Arabic when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Arabic in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Arabic Language Examination Courses

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. Newcastle upon Tyne is a city and metropolitan borough of Tyne and Wear, in North East England.
