Feedback from clients on our Arabic tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Arabic Lessons. New teaching approaches have revolutionised how modern language training is now approached. This training, with more fun and a more worthwhile experience means that it’s a far cry from what you may remember of studying languages in school.
When you start a Arabic course in Bournemouth, you will make progress from the very first lesson, as almost everything will be done in Arabic. This is known as the Communicative Approach, and means that your confidence and ability will soon grow so that you can use Arabic to communicate in social and business settings. The Arabic courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Arabic training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Arabic courses at Bournemouth are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Arabic Course ManagementEach of SIMON & SIMON’s Arabic languages courses is the responsibility of a multi-lingual, very experienced Account Manager.
When you start your Arabic course, you will receive your trainer’s profile. Thereafter we will send you a Course Plan, materials for the course and, after each 40 hours of training, a Progress Report. Our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, will also reach you, and contains a prize draw as well as the weblinks of language learning resources. 30 hour per week intensive Arabic courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. We will tailor your Arabic language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Arabic language course we will assess your goals and level of Arabic experience.
Your desire to learn Arabic may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Arabic to discuss business.
You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Arabic in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills.
No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Arabic trainers experience and that your Arabic language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met. Arabic Language Examination CoursesOur students’ pass rate for Arabic examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Arabic teachers in Bournemouth who have a higher level of experience than average.
SIMON & SIMON also arrange registration for Arabic examinations as well as administering the examination and issuing the results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Arabic Courses Bournemouth Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 22 countries and it is the liturgical language of Islam since it is the language of the Quran, the Islamic Holy Book. Arabic has many different, geographically distributed spoken varieties, some of which are mutually unintelligible. Modern Standard Arabic (sometimes called Literary Arabic) is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in workplaces, government and the media. Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town in the county of Dorset, England. According to the 2001 Census the town has a population of 164,900, making it the largest settlement in Dorset. It is also the largest settlement between Southampton and Plymouth. With Poole and Christchurch Bournemouth forms the South East Dorset conurbation, which has a total population of approximately 400,000.
Founded in 1810 by Lewis Tregonwell, Bournemouth's growth accelerated with the arrival of the railway, becoming a recognised town in 1870. Originally part of Hampshire, it joined Dorset with the reorganisation of local government in 1974. Since 1997 the town has been administered by a unitary authority, meaning that it has autonomy from Dorset County Council. The local authority is Bournemouth Borough Council.
Bournemouth's location on the south coast of England has made it a popular destination for tourists. The town is a regional centre of business, home of the Bournemouth International Centre and financial companies that include Liverpool Victoria and PruHealth.
In a 2007 survey by First Direct Bank, Bournemouth was found to be the happiest place in Britain with 82% of people questioned saying they were happy with their life.
